Meet Steve and Mel.
We are dedicated couple with a passion for long term health, fitness and wellbeing. Both of us have had our own journey with health; Steve had to lose 50kg and overcome a range of health issues related to being obese, and Mel has learned to recover from the effects of pregnancy and balance a busy home life with an ongoing health journey. We understand what health really means to people, not just what you look like, or what you can do, but how you feel and how to manage all of that within a busy lifestyle.
Personalized Approach: Our home-based personal training studio is founded on the belief that one size does not fit all, everyone's life is unique, so your health and fitness journey will be too. We are committed to providing personalized training programs tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
Holistic Wellness: We are not just about physical fitness; we believe in a holistic approach to wellness. Our training programs encompass physical fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being. We aim to empower our clients to make positive lifestyle changes that go beyond the gym.
Family-Centered: Our home-based studio is designed to be a warm and welcoming space for anyone, no matter their condition/goals. We encourage family participation and offer special programs for children, teens, and adults. The best way to ensure the next generation avoids the mistakes of the previous is to educate them in a practical way.
Expertise and Experience: With years of experience and training in the fitness industry, we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clients, along with a range of skills built from our own personal journey with health. We also follow the principle that if you educate people on the why, they will take ownership for their own health much more than if you only give out the how.
WEIGHT LOSS
We operate on 2 principles regarding weight loss; You are a product of your history, and what you do to get healthy is what you will need to keep doing to stay healthy. So everyone's plan will look different
MOBILITY TRAINING
Better known as strength at length, we prioritize, not just the ability to stretch, or the ability to be strong, but being able to take your muscles to the end of their range of motion and still recover. Think of a deep squat, or stepping off a high box.
SKILLS TRAINING
Training needs to be more than just a grind, we incorporate skill training from different types of exercise into our strength and mobility programmes. Want to learn Olympic lifting fundamentals? How about the basics of calisthenics or kettlebells, training can be both effective and fun!
STRENGTH TRAINING
Everyone has the ability to be far stronger than they believe. No matter your starting condition, we can help you achieve a strength level that will blow you away!
PHYSIQUE
Achieving your desired physique is not just about exercise, it also encompasses an understanding of what a healthy and achievable physique will look like, along with what it takes to get there. We will work with you to build the best physique you can achieve!
EDUCATION
We believe in the importance of educating our clients. Once you understand the principles and science behind the health choices you are implementing, you will be empowered to carry on with them long term. This is also why a big passion of ours is educating the next generation in simple, solid health, nutrition and exercise principles.
NUTRITION
Because food is an integral part of how we, socialise, entertain, celebrate and mourn, good nutrition needs to take this into account. We believe that sticking to good nutrition 90% of the time, will allow you the ability to be healthy, while still enjoying life. All our food choices and guidelines are built around that idea.
CLASSES
Kids can have a blast in our Jiu Jitsu sessions, where they'll learn cool moves and gain confidence while staying fit. Adults, you're not left out! Join our Jiu Jitsu classes to improve your fitness and learn self-defense techniques in a supportive environment. If you're looking to take a dip, our swimming classes for adults are just the thing to boost your skills in the water while getting in shape. And for those who love a good challenge, our kickboxing classes cater to both women and men, providing an energetic workout and teaching essential self-defense moves. There's something for everyone here.
