Steve Johnstone

I want to share a story, about the girl who changed my life and how I lost 50kg. Growing up, I was active and lean, but after leaving home at 20, I kept eating the same and stopped moving. I gained 60kg in just over two years, along with all the usual side effects low energy, joint pain, and more. Then came the turning point: my now-wife Mel (the sweetest, most encouraging person you'll meet) bluntly told me, “Steve, you’re fat. You need to do something about it.” That moment made me face reality. I started eating better, moving more, and dealing with the root causes of my habits. I dropped from 147kg to 97kg and found a lifelong passion for health and fitness.


As a personal trainer, my mission is to help individuals of all ages and fitness levels achieve their health and wellness goals. I believe fitness isn’t just about aesthetics it’s about feeling strong, staying healthy, and living a life you enjoy. I offer a range of programs that support both physical and mental well-being, tailored to meet you where you're at and guide you toward lasting, sustainable change.

Jess Loubser

Jess grew up dancing, which sparked a lifelong passion for movement and a curiosity about how the body works. After she overcame anorexia during high school, she was inspired to turn her lived experience into a career helping others feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies. Jess is now studying Sport and Exercise Science and Nutrition at AUT, where she is deepening her understanding of movement, strength, and health.


As a personal trainer, I bring a compassionate, evidence-based approach to support clients with busy lives. I focus on building strength, confidence, and sustainable habits so you can feel your best and live a healthier, happier life.
